BEHIND COPAL
"Copal is everything to us. It represents our culture, our family, our roots, the flavors of Mexico's rich indigenous and colonial histories."
Copal is the name of a tree found in Oaxaca, Mexico, and it also represents a tree resin that is burnt for ceremonial purposes (similar to incense) by the Mexicanos from the old cultures and the new. Copal also symbolizes the art of the indigenous peoples that use the wood to create objects, animals, people; art of nearly every form imaginable!

I have to say, I have NEVER had a wonderful customer service as I did tonight. Our server, Johaneth ( i hope that’s how you spell it) was so attentive to each one of our needs and we loved getting to meet her. Everything came out fast, drinks were refilled on the dot, and we loved the food! THANK YOU Johaneth for providing us such great service for our date night!
We come here often! Tried something new and the shredded beef arepas were VERY good! Would definitely recommend. My husband was impressed with their agave old fashion.
Food is SO fresh! The menu is pretty standard but what sets the food is apart is all super quality, fresh ingredients that really make you taste the difference. Even my jalapeño tequila and cucumber drink had amazing diced cucumbers in it that my mom ended up stealing! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly as well.
